The Concept

Custom "House Portraits" that depict your home and the life you have built as it should be seen - like something out of a storybook!Commissioned art that is created by hand in traditional media is thoughtful, unique, and a perfect gift for your loved ones. Allow me to make something that commemorates your home, your family, and paint the narrative of all that got you there.

The Artist

Saaraa has worked professionally in Architecture since 2019. She has worked on architectural projects globally (Canada, USA, Portugal, France, Morocco, Angola, Philippines, and GCC) and has recently returned home to Calgary, Canada to build her family with her husband and son.Storybook Houses are a passion for Saaraa amongst large-scale, abstract oil paintings. She is available for a variety of commissions.

Saaraa holds a Bachelor of Design from AU Arts and a Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto.

The Process

Each piece is produced to be archival and museum-quality.
This is a fully custom process for one-of-a-kind work that is completely unique to your story.

1. Get In Touch

Select a style for your house portrait (fairytale or classic) and include a few images of your home. Be sure to include references to what is most meaningful to you. Expect an enthusiastic response in 1-2 business days.

2. Approve the Sketch

I will provide a sketch of your home for your approval. These Portraits are idealised but unmistakeable. I love to include some charming details that bring the house to life and truly make it yours.

3. Linger on Your Storybook Life

Enjoy the shift in perspective that your charming House Portrait brings to your life. Allow yourself to see all you have accomplished and all that is to come in the home you have built.

The Details

Your Storybook House will include the details that matter.Loving pets, balloon deliveries for your first child, or the flowers you plant with care - I love to include these little details that build the portrait of your home.
